COVID Update Friday September 25 2020
* Did you know? We have updated our screening questions! As we have learned more about COVID-19, our screening questions have change to ensure the safety of everyone. Below are the current screening questions that we are using for anyone who enters our facilities to include staff, Veterans and visitors.
* Question #1: Have you been told you have COVID-19, or are you awaiting test results for COVID-19?
* Question #2: Do you currently have, or have you had in the last 14 days any symptoms of COVID such as fever, cough, shortness of breath or cold or flu-like symptoms?
* Question #3: In the last 14 days, have you been in contact with someone that has COVID-19, suspected of having COVID-19, awaiting test results for COVID-19, or been in an area where there is a high occurrence of COVID-19?
* Did you know? We are allowing visitors for inpatients (not CLC) between the hours of 3:00pm-6:00pm with approval and coordination of the clinician and nursing.
* Reminder- Enrolled Veterans are now able to receive their flu shots at our Drive Thru Flu Shot Clinic. The clinic for the hospital is located in the Veteran parking lot near building 73. Each CBOC also has a drive thru clinic in their parking lots. No appointment is needed. Veterans remain in their vehicles. For Veterans who would like to receive their flu shots at a local Urgent Care or Pharmacy, through the Community Care Network, they can find participating sites through the VA Facility Locator. Veterans who are onsite for appointments can receive their flu shot while in the facility and do not need to go to the drive thru clinic. During our first days of the clinic over 400 Veterans received their flu shot.
