Tricia comes from a four-generation military heritage with family members that graduated from both the US Naval Academy (grandfather) and West Point (father, 3 brothers, niece and nephew). The first female in her family to join the armed services, she served in Army Aviation for 27 years, as both enlisted, warrant and commissioned ranks in all three components (active, guard & reserve). She served in rotary and fixed wing leader & aviator assignments and as the National Guard’s Mobilization Readiness Advisory Council at both the regional and national levels (vice chair). She was selected as one of five Joint Forces Command functional task force commanders supporting the military mission to the 2002 Winter Olympics. She retired as the Aviation Branch Chief, Maneuver Division, Army Capabilities Integration Center in 2009.
Following military retirement, she continued serving as a Department of Army civilian supporting the Army’s Training and Doctrine Command as an Army Aviation Capability Analyst until retiring again in 2020. Her final major civilian assignment was a year in Austin, TX to help establish the Army’s newest 4-Star Command, The Army’s Future Command (AFC) as the chief operations officer to the Directorate of Systems Integration. Tricia now lives in Arden.
